One backup autonomous navigation based on magnetic/starlight measurement with remanence calibration is put forward in the light of defect of GNSS navigation system used in space mobile carrier.High accuracy GNSS and joint measurement information of gaussmeter/star sensor can be used to real- time estimate navigation parameters of space mobile carriers when GNSS signal is available. Simultaneously, geomagnetic remanence of operating enviroment is calibrated accurately. With accurate remanence calibration, the backup navigation scheme based on geomagnetic/starlight measurement is used to complete navigation without GNSS signal. Simulation results show that the scheme has high three-axis remanence calibration accuracy of 0.026nT, 0.293nT, 0.107nT, when GNSS signal is available. Errors of three-axis position and velocity of the backup navigation scheme are 87.3m, 172.5m, 65.2m, and 0.78m/s, 0.86m/s, 1.04m/s, when GNSS system is disturbed. The proposed scheme is feasible as well as efficient. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
