Children removed early on from institutionalized care and placed in foster homes have been found to have healthy brain connection (white matter) repair compared with those who remain institutionalized. A study has found that adherence to healthy eating before pregnancy is associated with a reduced risk of gestational diabetes. An inventory of 10 sample closets in doctor's offices in the U.S. has found 14 percent of expired drug samples.
