The article discusses a study that aims to quantify survival for meniscal allograft transplantation (MAT) and report findings at reoperation. A review of a prospectively collected database of patients who underwent MAT from 2003 to 2011 was done. It is said that 64 patients went back to the operating room after their index procedure. It is also mentioned that patients requiring secondary surgery within 24 months had an odds ratio of 8.4 for future arthroplasty or MAT revision.
