The article reports that the desire for customization among consumers is one of the trends influencing the beverage industry in 2007, according to a study by Natural Marketing Institute (NMI). For instance, there will be a decline in brand loyalty in the industry as consumers demand for new product innovations, NMI added. In addition, there is fear regarding food safety, climate change and a reliance on fossil fuels, NMI noted.
