The article discusses research of neurocognitive responses to a single session of static squats with whole body vibration (WBV) via vertical and rotational vibration delivery mechanisms in subjects who completed a baseline (BASE) neurocognitive assessment, the Immediate Postconcussion Assessment and Cognitive Test (ImPACT). Topics include the use of WBV as a neuromuscular exercise tool and the effect of exercise with or without vibration on visual and verbal memory scores and reaction time.
