Present study investigated the profile of adult participants’ in a mountain bike event, regarding involvement. Sporting activity involvement was expressed by three dimensions: a) attraction to the activity, b) self-expression through the activity, and c) centrality of activity in life. Involvement in mountain biking was investigated according to different demographic characteristics of cyclists. Participants were 150 adults (112 men and 38 women) and took part in an outdoor event. Involvement was evaluated by Kyle and all’s scale (2004). Scales reliability was tested successfully. Results revealed statistical significant differences in marital status demographic characteristic for all involvement’s dimensions (p <0.01). Moreover, the analysis of variance showed statistical significant differences (p <.001) among all sub-groups of different ages, with the group of older cyclists scored the highest values.
