The article discusses a survey conducted to investigate the high rate of infection and deaths among Black young adults in Durham, North Carolina due to few HIV-prevention programs on risks of concurrency and factors that discourage condom use with steady partners. It reveals that men have engaged in concurrent partnership more than women. Men and women alike have reported to engage in sexual risk behaviour. Participants reported using condoms with casual partners than with steady partners.
