Regarding the familiarization with European culture paradigms and the development of the individual style of writing, A. Austriņš' poetry manifests two different stages. The first is a stage of Decadent search (approximately till 1910), the second - that of recognizing traditional moral values (1910-1934). Emphasizing the world culture text is more characteristic of the first stage of A. Austriņš' writing. In the second stage A. Austriņš highlights the autobiographical text and subjective world perception, tending to position himself not as "one of others" but as an independent individuality. In both stages of his literary oeuvre, the world model in A. Austriņš' poetry is marked by a dominance of modernism. The major feature of modernist poetics is bispherical character of the world (there being both the real and supra-real, transcendent sphere), highlighting the individual's subjective experience, an individual version and new myth of the world. Leaving decadent and symbolist experiments behind, Antons Austriņš started writing works that organically fit the trend of Acmeism. He took up expressly everyday life poetics, depicting seemingly insignificant details, cultivating language, searching for bright archaic and dialect words; the author strove to make his images lively and sensual, simultaneously preserving simplicity of narrative and language. A. Austriņš tried to preserve the awareness of the worth of the material world, precision and clarity of the poetic word, distinctness of imagery, depiction of the beauty of reality and everyday life. The descriptive style of his poetry makes it possible to unite detailed factography with emotionality and subjectivism, resulting in the construction of reality based on subjectively emotional world picture that approximates A. Austriņš' poetry to prose text. A. Austriņš' poetry organically fits into the literary space of Europe and is a bright example of individual literary searching. His works are marked by original poetics, they embody a peculiar vision of the world that has been formed by personal experience and is manifested in poetry as autobiographical text.
