Preschool period is period from birth to six years old and it has great impact in prediction of child development directions in elderly stages. Preschool period represents the period in which it is very important to respond on physical, emotional, social and intellectual needs of children where the special role is on its environment In that, the support of parents and family has the crucial importance. Many research shows that children in their early development need the feeling of security through establishing of the socio-emotional relationships. The development of cognitive functions and academic abilities is upgraded on this. It is, also, important the attitude of parents about their participating in achieving of educational goals, responsible parenting and their readiness for cooperation with educators. Both sides could be seen as some kind of experts, where parents are experts for children and educators are experts for caring for children and their educating in institutional context. Both of them are responsible for children`s progress, as at home, so in kindergarten. Anyway, family and parents have the special role in ``developmental child`s climate`` with their participating in the whole child`s development, especially in development of its personality. Three interactive factors influence in this: needs and stresses of parents which parenting intrudes, parents ‘satisfaction by their children`s achievement and feelings related to parents` competences for participating in child`s development. Since we can value a family as a whole in functional sense, it is necessary for each of its members to express functional attitudes and behavior. Referring to Bandura's theory of model-based learning, we can assume that these members of family represent significant role models for identification in early childhood. The fact that a family is functional and healthy does not imply a complete absence of conflicts, but an opportunity to increase adaptive mechanisms of the family. A healthy functioning family is made up of individuals who manage to find solutions in problems concerning communications; family that is cohesive, connected in a way that does not impede personal freedom of its members. Members of such families effectively perform the roles they derive from their positions, they are emotionally stable and socially adaptive. A family can be considered as functional as long as it shares and understands emotions of members, accepts individual differences, interacts with members, respects member’s needs, spends time together, shares responsibilities.
