"Elegy written in a country churchyard" is the most famous poem of Thomas Gray. According to some critics, it is the most famous poem of English literature. So for, it has been translated in at least 18 different languages, Urdu being one of them. Many Urdu translators have translated it and in this article, we will be reviewing four translations of this poem by four different translators. They all have translated this famous poem in their own styles. All of them are fine pieces of work and very informative for Urdu readers. It is a valuable asset to Urdu literature.
