At the end of their article Gallery of the Military Commanders in the Defence of Olomouc during the Prussian Siege of the City in 1758, the authors turn their attention to the headquarters of the Prussian King Frederick II, which, during this siege, were located in the village Smržice near Prostějov. As many as 43 noteworthy Prussian officers took part in this siege. Some of them will be presented with short biographical summaries. The first part of this contribution presents the biographies of three general officers: 1. General-Field Marshal James Francis Keith (Jakob von Keith, 1696–1758), 2. Lieutenant-General Heinrich August Baron de la Motte-Fouqué (1698–1774) and 3. General of Cavalry Hans Joachim von Zieten (1699–1786). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
