Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Reading To Learn terhadap Keterampilan Menulis Teks Cerpen Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang. (Indonesian)

This study aims to determine the influence of the Reading To Learn learning method on the writing skills of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang. This type of quantitative research uses pseudo-experimental methods with pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is grade XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang. The samples that the researchers took in this study were class XI.F3 students totaling 36 people The data analysis techniques used include descriptive analysis, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of this study showed an improvement in students' skills in writing short stories. In the pretest score of writing short stories, students obtained an average score of 76.62, an increase in the posttest score with an average of 81.71. This proves that there is a significant influence between the Reading To Learn learning method on the writing skills of grade XI students. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran Reading To Learn terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang. Penelitian jenis kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Padang. Sampel yang peneliti ambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI.F3 yang berjumlah 36 orang Teknik analisis data yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis cerpen. Pada skor pretest menulis cerpen siswa diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 76,62, mengalami peningkatan pada skor posttest dengan rata-rata sebesar 81,71. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara metode pembelajaran Reading To Learn terhadap keterampilan menulis teks cerpen siswa kelas XI. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
