Rameses II, son of Seti I and Queen Tuya, rulers of the nineteenth dynasty, where he ruled for a long time. He received the reins of power after the death of his father in 1213 BC to 1279 BC. His successor called him the great-grandfather, and the pharaoh had the absolute right to marry any woman. The number of his male children reached eleven, one hundred, and fifty-one female, based on what was mentioned in the List of Valley of the Seven temples, he had hundreds of descendants Among his major wives were Queen Nefertari, Estnefert and Matt Nefera. He married three of his daughters: Bent Anta, Merit Amun and Nabat Tawi. Rameses II led several military campaigns from Nubia in the south of Egypt to the Levant in the north. He waged his war with the country of Nubia in the twentieth year of his rule after the two Nubian sticks as an attempt to get rid of the Egyptian rulers, as well as his war with the Levant with his famous battle "Battle of Kadesh" The Egyptian forces under his leadership clashed with the forces of Mwatalis, the king of the Hittites, and over the following years, neither side was able to defeat the other. Therefore, Ramses II concluded in the twenty-first year of his reign (1258 BC) a treaty with Hattuselis III, which is the oldest peace treaty in history. However, his military campaigns did not prevent him from achieving administrative achievements and building temples. He established the city of Ramses, the capital of his state in the Nile Delta, which he built on the ruins of the Hyksos capital. He also built cities and many important monuments. السبع فكان لديه المئان * خليفته بالحكم لقب (الجد الأكبر)، وكان للفرعون الحق المطلق في نكت نفرت" و "مات رعمسيس الثاني ابن سيتي الأول والملكة تويا حكام فراعنة الأسرة التاسعة عشر، إذ حكم لمدة طويلة. وتسنم مقاليد السلطة بعد وفاة والده عام ۱۲۱۳ ق.م إلى ۱۲۷۹ ق.م، أطلق عليه الزواج من أي امرأة وبلغ عدد في قائمة معابد وادي من أحفاد ومن أزواجه الرئيسات الملكة نفرتاري نفرورع"، تزوج من ثلاث من بناته وهنّ "بنت" "عنتا و مریت" آمون" و "نبت تاوي". وقاد عدّة حملات عسكرية من النوبة جنوب مصر إلى بلاد الشام شمالًا فجرت حربه مع بلاد النوبة في العام العشرين من حكمه بعد عصيان النوبيين محاولة منهم للتخلص من الحكام المصريين، كذلك حربه مع بلاد الشام بمعركته الشهيرة معركة قادش" قامت القوات المصرية تحت قيادته بالاشتباك مع قوات مواتاليس ملك الحيثيين، وعلى مر السنين التالية لم يتمكن أي من الطرفين هزيمة الطرف الآخر ، لذا أبرم رمسيس الثاني في العام الحادي والعشرين من حكمه (۱٢٥٨ ق.م.) معاهدة مع حاتوسيليس الثالث، وهي أقدم معاهدة سلام في التأريخ إلا أنَّ حملاته العسكرية لم تمنعه من تحقيق الإنجازات الإدارية وبناء المعابد فقد أنشأ مدينة رمسيس عاصمة ولايته في دلتا النيل، التي بناها على أنقاض عاصمة الهكسوس وقام أيضًا ببناء المدن والعديد من المعالم المهمة. ولقب بسيد البنائين؛ لكثرة تشييده للمعابد، ووقع رمسيس أول معاهدة سلام في العالم مع الملك الحيثي خوتوشيلي شيلي الثالث، وسنّ بعض القوانين.
