Burn trauma can be treated both on an outpatient basis and during hospitalization. Severity factors such as depth, extent and location of the burn, mechanism of injury, comorbidity, age of patients, combined injuries determine the method of treatment and the type of medical facility competent to provide the correct therapy. Adequately provided first aid, both medical and non-medical, affects the prognosis of burns. Subsequent local care and early recognition of possible complications eliminates permanent consequences in the form of scars. The following text deals with the above-mentioned topics with the aim of bringing the comprehensive care of a burn patients closer to ambulatory doctors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Popáleninové trauma lze léčit jak ambulantně, tak za hospitalizace. Faktory závažnosti, jako je hloubka, rozsah a lokalizace popálení, mechanismus úrazu, komorbidita, věk pacientů, sdružená poranění, určují způsob léčby a typ zdravotnického zařízení kompetentního správnou terapii poskytnout. Adekvátně poskytnutá první pomoc, lékařská i nelékařská, ovlivňují prognózu popálených. Následná lokální péče a včasné rozpoznání ev. komplikací eliminuje trvalé následky v podobě jizev. Následující text se zabývá výše zmiňovanými tématy s cílem přiblížit ambulantním lékařům komplexní péči o popáleného pacienta. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
