A study conducted at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University investigated the predictive value of the lymphocyte-to-monocyte ratio (LMR) and systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) in patients with acute spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (sICH). The researchers retrospectively evaluated 171 patients with sICH and found that a lower LMR measured at 24 hours of admission was an independent predictor of a poor prognosis at 3 months. The study concluded that LMR showed an independent predictive value for anticipating the 3-month prognosis in patients with sICH. [Extracted from the article]
