A recent study conducted by Roberto Saito and his colleagues at the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil has discovered a nebula in space that appears to change color and brightness in a rhythmic pattern every four years. The researchers observed this phenomenon using the VISTA telescope in Chile and named the nebula VVV-WIT-12. The nebula's behavior is unique and challenging to understand, but the researchers speculate that it may be an unusual young star in the process of forming. Further observations with more advanced telescopes will be needed to gather more information about this intriguing object. [Extracted from the article]
