Exploring the inclusive urbanization development can provide a new perspective for improving the quality of urbanization. Based on statistical yearbook data, taking 30 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) in Chinese mainland as study samples, this paper first uses the entropy method to measure the development of urbanization, further uses the social network analysis method to investigate the overall structure, individual structure and spatial clustering characteristics of the spatial correlation network of inclusive urbanization development, and finally uses the quadratic assignment procedure to explore the network formation mechanism. It is found as follows. 1 There is obvious spatial relevance in the urbanization development in China, but the spatial correlation degree is at a low level. The overall network structure is relatively stable, but there is still a large room for improvement in exchanges and cooperation between different regions. 2 The spillover and benefit relationship of inclusive urbanization development has obvious imbalance between the east, central and west regions. The east and central regions are the regions with the most spillover and benefit from the spatial correlation network of urbanization development. Areas well good economic development, perfect infrastructure construction and high transportation accessibility are more likely to occupy the "core" portion in the correlation network. 3 Geographical proximity, differences in economic development levels, differences in industrial structure upgrading, differences in technological innovation levels and other geographical conditions and socio-economic factors have a promoting role in the formation of spatial correlation network of inclusive urbanization development.
