A meta-analysis conducted by researchers at the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine compared the outcomes of robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery in patients with endometriosis. The analysis included eight studies from 2013 to 2022, involving 1741 patients. The results showed that while there were no significant differences in blood loss, rehospitalization, conversion rate, and complications between the two techniques, laparoscopic surgery had shorter operation and hospitalization times compared to robotic surgery. This research suggests that both techniques have similar outcomes, but laparoscopic surgery may be more efficient in terms of time. [Extracted from the article]
