A study conducted in Karachi, Pakistan examined the relationship between perceived social support and anxiety among patients with Chronic Hepatitis C (CHC). The study included 250 CHC patients between the ages of 31 to 50 years, with 74% being male and 26% female. The results showed that anxiety was more common in females, and there was a negative correlation between perceived social support and anxiety.
