Researchers from Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya have conducted a study on achievement motivation among students in Indonesia, specifically examining the role of teacher-student relations, peer relations, and the moderation of collectivist culture. The study found that collectivist culture does not significantly moderate the relationship between teacher-student relations and achievement motivation, nor does it significantly moderate the relationship between peer relations and achievement motivation. These findings suggest a transformation of cultural dimensions among the Z Generation participants, rendering the dichotomy of individualism and collectivism meaningless in the context of teacher-student and peer relations with achievement motivation. The research provides valuable insights for future studies on cultural dimensions by involving countries with different cultural backgrounds. [Extracted from the article]
