A study conducted by researchers at the Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine examined the association between dietary antioxidant indexes and low back pain in American women adults. The study included 17,682 participants from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and used logistic regression models to analyze the data. The results showed that there was no significant association between the composite dietary antioxidant index (CDAI) and low back pain overall, but there was a negative association in the female population. The study suggests that antioxidant diets should be studied in the context of dietary patterns. [Extracted from the article]
