A recent study conducted at the University of Miami examined the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for the treatment of mild to moderate erectile dysfunction. The study involved 61 men who were randomly assigned to receive either PRP injections or a placebo. The researchers found that there was no significant difference in the effectiveness of PRP compared to the placebo. However, the study did conclude that PRP injections were safe for use in treating erectile dysfunction. This research was supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States.
