Aimed at the problem that UHMWPE is easy to slip in two-dimensional fabric and reduce the anti-puncture performance of the fabric. four kinds of angular interlocking fabrics were constructed, and the warp and weft puncturing properties of four kinds of angular interlocking fabrics were studied hy finite element analysis method. The quasi-static experimental results were compared with the simulation results to reveal the damage mechanism of fabrics punctured by standard cutting tools. The results show that the finite element analysis can accurately restore the mechanical response of fabric under a cutting tool. According to the fabric damage stress cloud map, the warp that really plays a role in preventing punctures for angular interlocking fabrics can be selected with high-strength warp and increased warp density to improve the anti-puncturing performance of the fabric.
