MOGUĆNOSTI PRIMJENE KONCEPTA VISOKOKVALITETNOG ODRŽIVOG TURIZMA U MEĐIMURJU. (Croatian)

The starting point for the consideration of this topic is the need for changes in the approach to tourism. It is obvious that its rapid growth has a negative impact on the environment, but it is also an encouraging fact that in the search of appropriate solutions for a shift towards a sustainable development of tourism there are inspiring examples, such as the example of the Međimurje County, that has managed to stand out in that endeavour in Croatia and even beyond. One should not stop there, but rather continue making the tourist offering in such a way that the characteristics of Međimurje, its values, significance, beliefs, lifestyle etc. are highlighted even more precisely and suggestively. The assumption is that the further process of the County's development could be based on the coexistence of ecology and luxury. In this context, the aim of this paper is to discuss the ways to bring this change about, that is, to ensure the correlation between the existing and the new, from which various possibilities of development would emerge, which could then be combined and which could conform to the local community. This could give Međimurje a new meaning and a more specific function that could be used to respond to the current state and problems. The effect of such an adjustment should be a better harmony with the target segments of the visitors. And as a useful landmark for undertaking various activities, our suggestion is taste, which stands for a certain expression of expectations or moods, in other words for the comfort felt by the guests that permeates them when watching, hearing or experiencing something. In this matter this, of course, begs the questions of arguments, criteria and the points of reference on the basis of which assessments and strategies for the development of the so- called high-quality sustainable tourism can be made. By and large, if it is to be brought about, it is important to be aware of the fact that high-quality sustainable tourism has different standards than those established for its mass, and thus unsustainable, form. Such an approach has also determined the direction of the undertaken research, in which four tourist facilities in Međimurje were included - holiday houses "Lina" and "Gran Vista" as well as the restaurants "Mala hiža" and "Stari grad". The criterion for defining the framework of the research was that in each category there are two representative tourist entities that can be compared according to certain criteria. In this matter the focus was on the analysis of the atmosphere and the quality of the service in these facilities. The results have shown that for a shift towards a high-quality sustainable tourism all facilities are lacking that subtle factor that separates an exceptional concept from a standard one, so that true change will require a change in thinking and the knowledge of how to distinguish between circumstances. Polazište za razmatranje ove teme potreba je za promjenama u pristupu turizmu. Očito je da njegov ubrzani rast negativno utječe na okoliš, ali je i ohrabrujuća činjenica da u traženju prikladnih rješenja za pomak prema održivom razvoju turizma postoje inspirativni primjeri, poput Međimurske županije, koja se u tom nastojanju uspjela istaknuti u Hrvatskoj i izvan nje. No tu ne bi trebalo stati, već bi turističku ponudu trebalo oblikovati tako da se još preciznije i sugestivnije ističu karakteristike Međimurja, njegove vrijednosti, značaj, uvjerenja, životni stil i sl. Pretpostavka je da bi se daljnji proces razvoja Međimurja mogao zasnivati na suživotu ekologije i luksuza. U tom kontekstu cilj rada je usmjeren na raspravu o načinima kako učiniti tu promjenu, odnosno kako omogućiti suodnos postojećeg i novog, da bi onda iz toga mogle proizaći različite razvojne mogućnosti koje se mogu kombinirati i prilagođavati lokalnoj zajednici. Upravo bi to turizmu Međimurja moglo dati jedan novi smisao i jednu specifičniju funkciju kojom se može odgovoriti na nastalo stanje i probleme. Učinak takvog prilagođavanja trebala bi biti bolja usklađenost s ciljnim segmentima posjetitelja. A kao koristan orijentir za poduzimanje raznih aktivnosti predlaže se ukus, koji znači određeni izraz očekivanja ili raspoloženja, odnosno ugodu kod gostiju koja ih prožima kad nešto gledaju, slušaju ili proživljavaju. Pri tome se, naravno, postavljaju pitanja argumenata, kriterija i uporišta na temelju kojih se mogu izvršiti procjene i opredjeljenja za razvoj tzv. visokokvalitetnog održivog turizma. Uglavnom, ako će ga se htjeti realizirati, važno je shvatiti da za visokokvalitetni održivi turizam vrijede drugačija mjerila od onih koja se koriste u njegovom masovnom, a time i neodrživom obliku. U tom kontekstu je provedeno i empirijsko istraživanje. Njime su obuhvaćena četiri turistička objekta u Međimurju - dvije kuće za odmor, Holiday Home Lina i Gran Vista Holiday Home te dva restorana, Mala hiža i Stari grad. Kriterij za definiranje okvira istraživanja bio je da u svakoj kategoriji postoje po dva turistička reprezentativna subjekta koji se mogu uspoređivati prema određenim kriterijima. Težište se stavilo na analizu ambijenta i kvalitetu usluge u tim objektima. Rezultati su pokazali da za pomak ka visokokvalitetnom održivom turizmu nedostaje onaj suptilni faktor koji izniman koncept odvaja od standardnog, tako da će za istinsku promjenu trebati promijeniti promišljanje i znati razlikovati okolnosti.
