Telstra, an Australian telecommunications company, is implementing two generative AI solutions called One Sentence Summary and Ask Telstra, which leverage Microsoft Cloud and Azure OpenAI. One Sentence Summary condenses customer information and reduces the need for customers to repeat themselves, while Ask Telstra provides employees with easy access to internal knowledge bases. Telstra plans to expand the availability of these tools throughout 2024. Additionally, Keysight Technologies has introduced a test platform for AI/ML network validation and optimization, and NTT Ltd. is developing its first data center campus in the Paris market. Meta, formerly known as Facebook, plans to invest heavily in data centers and AI infrastructure in 2024. [Extracted from the article]
