A new report discusses research findings on the costs of coordinated specialty care (CSC) for first-episode psychosis in Ohio. The study used a microcosting tool to estimate the personnel and nonpersonnel costs of service delivery at seven CSC programs. The average annual cost per participant was estimated to be $17,810, with 61% of annual program costs being nonbillable. The research suggests that novel financing models may help address reimbursement gaps for CSC programs. [Extracted from the article]
