A new report from Capital Medical University in China presents data on the prevalence of Parkinson's disease (PD) among adults aged 45 years and older in China. The study used data from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) and identified 178 patients with PD among 19,034 residents. The prevalence of PD increased with age, but no significant differences were found in terms of sex, area of residence, or education level.
