Introduction. In the 2023-2024 cold season in Romania, there have been legislative changes regarding influenza immunization, with the aim of purchasing influenza vaccine by the patient on the basis of a doctor’s prescription. Objective. To track the impact of the change in legislative norms regarding the flu immunization rate through family doctors in Mureș County, Romania. Materials and method. In 29 March 2024, we made a questionnaire, with 11 questions, at which 30 family physicians from Mureş County answered. Results. In terms of influenza immunization of the surveyed doctors, 53% of the respondents were immunized and 47% of them did not opt for their own immunization. Regarding the rate of influenza vaccination, through legislative changes, 16.67% of doctors believe that the vaccination rate has increased, but 56.66% do not consider changes in the immunization rate, and at the opposite pole, 26.66% of the respondents were undecided. Conclusions. Legislative changes aimed at facilitating the population’s access to vaccination may influence the rate of flu immunization. Among the doctors interviewed, a reserved attitude towards flu immunization can be noted, which may impact the overall flu vaccination rate [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Introducere. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
