The article focuses on the study which examines the views of chief financial officers (CFOs) in New York on the sustainability issue of companies. It is found out that CFOs and other senior financial executives believe that financial benefits can be achieved by implementing strategies that reduce the impact on the environment. The study has surveyed 175 CFOs and conducted interviews at various sustainability focused companies including Bank of America Corp. and Herman Miller Inc.
