The article assesses the performance of 12th-graders with different racial or ethnic groups in mathematics. In 2005, 61% of students performed at, or above the basic achievement level, while 23% has performed at, or above proficient. Among the racial or ethnic groups evaluated include the students of Asian or Pacific Islander who outperformed other students. Moreover, male students have higher average score than female students.
