Antecedents: World-wide and nationally the factors of cardiovascular risk (FRVC) appear to earlier ages. Esqueda (1999) proposed a questionnaire of integral detection, which in spite of its utility is not applied in all the sector health, scientific evidence does not exist either if the patient recognizes these factors. Objective: To determine the factors of cardiovascular risk, level of knowledge on these, and degree of cardiovascular risk in the apparently healthy adult. Material and methods: Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, ambilectivo study, in 146 rightful claimants of the UMF 94 of the IMSS, age between 20 to 59 years, healthy, voluntary participation. Exploring FRCV with anthropometric and serum determinations, the questionnaire was applied: do you have diabetes and does not know it? and the scale of perceived stress (PSS-10). Analysis with descriptive statistic and test of Kruskal-Wallis and r Spearman. Results: With 64% of feminine participants, average of age of 36 ± 12.2 years. The frequency of the FRV: overweight and obesity 71.3%, sedentary lifestyle 68.5%, inheritance 54%, smoking 42%, hypercholesterolemia 24%, hypertrigliceridemia 23.3%. Emphasizing level of high knowledge (56.8%), influence of schooling (p = 0.000) and level of cardiovascular risk under (49.35%), influencing age and civil state (p = 0.00) Conclusions: The FRVC as their frequency were: overweight, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, smoking, stop stress, genetic load, metabolic alterations (dyslipidemias) and hypertensive problem. High level of knowledge in half of participants and more than two thirds with low and high level of cardiovascular risk. Significant influence of the schooling on the knowledge, and been civil and age on the cardiovascular risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
