The author reflects on the idea of redesigning medical curriculum to include the concept of volunteer student-led clinics and interprofessionalism in the Australian medical education. He mentions that the concept of student-led clinics are not new in Canada and the U.S. but appear to be uncommon in Great Britain's National health Services (NHS). He also examines the idea of interprofessionalism in the medical curricula which are shown to be responsible in the health care needs of the patients.
