The article highlights a protest campaign done by Freedom Theatre in the Bil'in village, near Ramallah, West Bank on June 17, 2011. Freedom Theatre, a Palestinian performing arts group based in the Jenin Refugee Camp, played drums, horns, and performed traditional Palestinian dances to address the human rights abuses of Palestinians by Israelis such as construction of the "Apartheid Wall." The campaign enabled the formation of the Bil'in Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements.
