The article evaluates the stability of the initial clinical improvement over time through documenting the imaging evolution of tissue regeneration process using magnetic resonance imaging analysis for up to 5 years. It examines 27 patients treated for knee chondral or osteochondral lesions. It looks at the use of osteochondral scaffold to treat chondral and osteochondral knee defects. Statistical improvement in all clinical scores during the two- and five-year follow-ups is also discussed.
