Consumers of Islamic banking require certain specifi c needs, in particular, a guarantee that the muamalah principles shall be upheld. In fulfi lling this requirement, various laws have been enforced in Indonesia. In the context of dispute resolution, there are some legislation that evinced disharmonization in its provisions. This disharmonization has the potential of creating legal uncertainty which may jeopardize consumers' interest, thus affecting consumers' trust and confi dence in the Islamic banking institutions in Indonesia in the context of dispute resolution. Adopting the content analysis methodology based on doctrinal approach, this article emphasizes on legal integration in the cause of formulating a harmonized legal corpus for Islamic banking in Indonesia.
