A recent study conducted in Taiwan found that a combined walking and resistance band exercise intervention can effectively alleviate cancer-related fatigue (CRF) among cancer patients. The study involved ten trials and showed significant improvements in CRF, mood distress, and daily walking steps in the intervention group compared to the control group. This exercise option may provide an additional strategy to manage CRF in cancer patients, but further research is needed to determine the optimal exercise prescription for individual patients.
