A recent study conducted in Jiangsu, China, explored the use of 177Lu-FA-DOTA-PEG-PLGA nanoparticles as a potential therapy for ovarian cancer. The nanoparticles were designed to target ovarian cancer cells and showed promising results in inhibiting tumor growth and intraperitoneal metastasis in mice. The nanoparticles also exhibited a long blood circulation time and low renal radioactivity uptake. This research suggests that these nanoparticles could be a novel therapy for ovarian cancer patients. [Extracted from the article]
