The article proposes an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for assessing usability of electronic government (e-government) websites in Australia. It presents the evaluation and ranking of the portals of state governments in the country. It shows the implementation of this model to obtain judgment data by random number generation, rather than real user testing. It stresses the efficiency of the method in minimizing the number of pairwise comparisons required.
